2 killed, 5 injured in south Alabama crash

Two people were killed and five others were injured Friday afternoon in a three-vehicle crash in Houston County.
Amanda Hardy, 31, of Ariton, and Wyatt Hardy, 29, of Ozark, were killed in the collision, according to Alabama state troopers. They were passengers in a 2015 Chevrolet Suburban.
According to troopers, the Suburban collided with a 2003 Chevrolet truck traveling in the same direction on U.S. 231, causing the Suburban to cross the median and collide with a 2003 Provost motor home.
The driver and two other passengers in the Suburban as well as the driver and passenger of the motor home were injured and transported to an unspecified hospital.
No other details of their injuries were released. 
The crash occurred at around 3:30 p.m. on U.S. 231 at the one mile marker, one mile south of Madrid.
Troopers continue to investigate.
